Overview:

* Assist the Head Coach of the assigned sport in providing a successful athletic program for Grades 9 through 12

* Provide student/athletes with an opportunity to participate in a successful athletic program

* Provide quality instruction and skill development for all student/athletes in the athletic program

* Promote student/athlete participation in the athletic program at all levels

* Establish and maintain a collaborative coaching environment

* Establish and maintain a positive line of communication with student/athletes, parents, coaches, faculty, administrators and the community

* Provide rigorous classroom instruction in the assigned content subject area

* Understand U.I.L. Rules and Regulations

Previous coaching experience preferred

Coaching stipends are added to the applicable B.I.S.D. Teacher Hiring Guide to determine final salary
