Overview:

* Assist the Middle School Athletic Coordinator in providing a successful athletic program for Grades 7 and 8

* Provide student/athletes with an opportunity to participate in a successful athletic program that includes Cross Country, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Soccer, Track & Field and Tennis.

* Provide quality instruction and skill development for all student/athletes in the athletic program

* Promote student/athlete participation in the athletic program at all levels

* Establish and maintain a collaborative coaching environment

* Establish and maintain a positive line of communication with student/athletes, parents, coaches, faculty, administrators and the community

* Provide rigorous classroom instruction in the assigned content subject area

* Understand U.I.L. Rules and Regulations

Previous coaching experience preferred

Coaching stipends are added to the applicable B.I.S.D. Teacher Hiring Guide rate to determine final salary
