Overview: This position will provide onsite administrative support for North Star Academy. North Star Academy is the alternative education center for the Borger Independent School District. The successful candiate will act as the administrative liaison for all Borger I.S.D. schools and campus Administrators who have placed students at North Star Academy. The Assistant Principal of North Star Academy will facilitate the overall administration of the instructional program, campus organization/operations and coordinate all student activities and services of North Star Academy.
Borger I.S.D. is a 4-A school district located in the Panhandle of Texas. This position is a 212 day position.
Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred
Texas Principal EC-12 preferred or other appropriate Texas administrative certification
Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System appraiser preferred
Three years of successful classroom instructional experience required
